Delicious brownies are always a good idea! And these coconut macaroon brownies are so perfect for any occasion. This recipe will take you around 20 minutes to prepare and around 45 minutes to bake. Simple, easy and extremely tasty with a nice coconut flavor! Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ¾ cups white sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup butter, at room temperature
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- ¾ teaspoon cream of tartar
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- 3 ¾ cups unsweetened flaked coconut
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 180°C /Gas Mark 4. Grease and flour a 9 by 13-inch baking pan; set aside.
- In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until creamy. Then, mix in the eggs, one at a time, and stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, and cream of tartar.
- Next, stir the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and beat until well incorporated. Add in chopped walnuts and stir to combine. Spread 1/2 of this mixture into the prepared pan. Set aside.
- Now, prepare the middle layer. In a bowl, combine together the sweetened condensed milk, coconut, and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Gently spread this over the chocolate layer in the baking pan. To finish, pour the reaming chocolate batter and spread evenly to cover.
- Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is no longer shiny. Remove and cool in the pan. Cut into bars and serve.
