WALTON COUNTY, FLORIDA — A shocking act of violence unfolded at Walton Middle School Tuesday morning, leaving two 12-year-old students in critical condition and raising serious concerns about school safety.
Authorities say the suspect, also a seventh-grade student, carried out the attack within minutes of arriving on campus.

According to investigators, the suspect was dropped off at school around 7:17 a.m. during early morning arrival.
Officials say the student entered a hallway bathroom and remained inside for approximately two minutes and 40 seconds before emerging masked and armed with a sharp object. What followed happened quickly and left little time for intervention.
