OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN — A massive water main break sent torrents of water rushing across a major roadway in Oakland County, flooding neighborhoods and leaving multiple vehicles stranded as emergency crews rushed to contain the situation.
Officials say the incident occurred along 14 Mile Road between Drake Road and Farmington Road, where a major underground transmission line suddenly ruptured, sending water spilling across the roadway and surrounding areas.
