CYPRESS, TEXAS — A wild and extraordinarily expensive crash unfolded near Cypress Texas this week when a Lamborghini Aventador S and a Lamborghini Revuelto somehow managed to collide on the feeder road of Highway 99 and Jack Road, with the Aventador erupting into flames and burning almost entirely to the ground while the Revuelto sustained severe front-end and side damage in a combined loss estimated at roughly 1 million dollars or more.
The Cy-Fair Fire Department responded with Tower 7 and Medic 7 after dispatchers reported a vehicle fire, arriving to find both Lamborghinis involved in the accident with one fully engulfed in flames.
Aventador Burned to the Ground While Revuelto Suffered Major Damage in Crash
Photos from the scene show the Aventador S almost completely destroyed by fire with virtually nothing remaining of the roughly 450,000 dollar supercar, while the Revuelto valued near 700,000 dollars sustained significant damage across its front end and side panels.
The Cy-Fair Fire Department described the scene as not something you see everyday on social media, confirming units arrived to find two Lamborghinis involved in the accident with one actively on fire upon their arrival at the feeder road location.
Fortunately despite the dramatic and fiery nature of the crash, authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported from either vehicle, making the incident a total loss of machinery but not of human life.
Witnesses Claim Lamborghinis Were Driving Erratically With a Red Pickup Filming Before Crash
Multiple social media users claimed to have witnessed the two Lamborghinis prior to the crash, with alleged witnesses describing the vehicles as driving erratically and not allowing other cars to pass from Cypress Rose Hill all the way to Highway 99.
Witnesses also reported a red pickup truck with two men filming from the bed was following and capturing the Lamborghinis on video before the crash occurred, raising questions about whether the vehicles were involved in some form of filming or street racing activity.
Police have not publicly disclosed whether speed, impairment, or street racing were contributing factors and no citations or driver identities have been released at this time. Stay with GordonRamsayClub.com for the latest updates.
