Wellness The Benefits of a Proper Colon Cleanse

As we grow older, we consume more and more food and fluids, which our stomachs naturally convert to fecal deposits that may be toxic to our bloodstream, and potentially cause damage to our bodies. This fact implies that our intestines are filthy and that this aforementioned toxicity may lead to health complications such as constipation, weight fluctuations, diabetes, liver and kidney problems, as well as hair, nail, skin, eye, and ear problems. Worse yet, it may also lead to more serious illnesses such as arthritis and even cancer.

To reduce the chances of complications, one should consider colon cleansing. A tiny part of the colon (specifically 40-50 centimeters) can be cleaned with an enema; however, this intestinal treatment is expensive due to the equipment used.

On the other hand, ingesting about three tablespoons of flaxseed flour every day for three weeks may cleanse the colon and rid the small intestine of mucus accumulated throughout the years. This also causes quicker fat-burning and weight normalization. Moreover, flaxseed flour also helps detoxify the body and lower one’s cholesterol level and may contribute to the alleviation/prevention of ululcersobesity, cystitis, and urinary tract diseases, among others.

For optimum results, consume this mixture instead of breakfast for three weeks:

  • Week 1: 1 tbsp. of flaxseed flour in 100 ml of kefir
  • Week 2: 2 tbsp. of flaxseed flour in 100 ml of kefir
  • Week 3: 3 tbsp. Of flaxseed flour in 150 ml of kefir

If you are reluctant about consuming flax meals, you may opt to use finely ground flaxseed. Be advised not to make mixtures a few days in advance; rather, make and then take a fresh mixture every morning.

This method also requires the consumption of 2 to 3 liters of water every day, and may only be done once a year.
